16 Apr EXPERIENCED PROJECT MANAGER JOINS TATE CONSULTING

Tate Consulting has appointed highly experienced electrical specialist, Stuart Fenwick, as a project manager to work across the company’s extensive portfolio of residential projects.

Tate Consulting provides a full range of commercial engineering solutions across large scale city apartment buildings, build to rent developments and purpose-built student accommodation schemes throughout the UK.

The company’s expertise spans mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP), from concept design to project handover and post-occupancy evaluation, as well as vertical transportation, building physics, fire engineering services, sustainability and building performance assessments.

In his new role, Stuart will visit the company’s projects located throughout the UK, including high-profile developments in London, Leeds, Birmingham and Manchester, and alongside Tate Consulting’s design engineers, he will project manage the construction phase of the project. This includes technical design submittals, as well as reviewing installations for quality and contract compliance purposes.

He will also play a key role in witnessing contractors’ test and commissioning demonstrations and reviewing handover documentation, including test certificates and drawings, to ensure correct operation and statutory compliance.

Stuart brings more than 40 years’ experience to the role. He started his career as an electrician before working his way up into management roles, where he has spent 24 years working on behalf of contractors as well as client side in estates teams and providing consultancy services.
