06 Dec Tate Consulting appointed for new 1 million sq ft Automated Distribution Centre for Euro Car Parts

Tate Consulting has been appointed by Euro Car Parts to provide consulting services for its’ new 1 million sq. ft. Automated Distribution Centre at the 400 acre Birch Coppice Business Park in Dordon, near Tamworth.

Tate Consulting are providing the heating, electrical, ventilation, fire, sprinkler and MHE design services for the facility which is due for practical completion in January 2016.  Once completed, the new distribution centre will comprise 47,500 sq.ft. of offices, 720,000 sq.ft. of warehousing space and over 228,000 sq.ft. of mezzanine space.

Situated in Dordon at Junction 10 of the M42, the new facility, one of the largest in the West Midlands, will stock over 150,000 different product lines and despatch over 200,000 items each night to the Euro Parts branch network.
