Princes Quay is sailing ahead to become the jewel in the city’s food and leisure offering.

Princes Quay’s is currently undergoing a transformation after being snapped up by private equity real estate company CIT Group in a £71million deal in April 2010. From day one, the group’s director Howard Grace said there was “great untapped potential” in Princes Quay, saying he wanted to attract food outlets to the quayside area.

Tate Consulting has been appointed by CIT Group to complete phase II of the food court works along side GVA, which will see the mall entrance from the newly decked area widened and the open plan food court converted to individual food tenant units. Recent tenants to sign up are Pizza Express and Nando’s.
